The file, cruises.WHOIre04, provides information about the seven cruises
including cruise numbers, institution codes, platform codes, number of 
stations in each cruise, the start and end dates of the cruise, and other
information.  Code numbers can be found in 
http://www.nodc.noaa.gov/OC5/WOD01/code01.html.

Using a report generating subroutine created in the Ocean Climate 
Laboratory, the following information was produced:

Oceanographic profile temperature, salinity, and other measurements collected 
using bottle from the EVERGREEN, GOSNOLD, and other platforms in the Coastal 
N Atlantic, North Atlantic and other locations from 1962 to 1975
