Subject: ARC data Date: Thu, 15 Mar 2001 11:35:25 -0500 (EST) From: phil mele To: ricardo@nodc.noaa.gov ricardo - i have collected all the arc data into a new gzipped tar file. it is at: ftp://ftp.ldeo.columbia.edu/pub/pmele/trans/ named arcdata.tar.gz % gunzip arcdata.tar.gz % tar -xvf arcdata.tar ther are 85 ctd files and 84 bottle files. i removed the bottle file for 56 as it contains no data. i reformatted the data, removing the tabs. columns are now fortran compatable. for bottle files 3 and 6, i resorted based on pressure. the duplicate pressures at 504.6 in bottle file 3 are due to double trips, both scans are good. below is a sample. B for bottle, 316N for Knorr, sat, cast, lat, lon, year/month/day, yearday, GMT and cruise. zz is bottom depth.
