    Dear NODC,

        There were some computer problems during the first leg of the cruise MF-00-12.  No actual data
    was lost.  The usual format that we collect for you was lost.  I include on this disk the Trimble and
    Northstar GPS data as well as the EK 500 and Gyro data for that period.  I am sorry for the inconvenience
    of the format.
