in my previous e-mail i forgot to tell you that you will
   notice that there is a problem with the year in the S61A files.
    you will notice that some of the files have 1980 and 1996 written
    for the year.  there was a problem with the software used
    and the years were recorded incorrectly.  they should all be
    2000.   i did not make the correction on your data files.
    supposedly the problem has been fixed and we should be
    seeing files that have the correct year from now on.
