        I have placed on the NODC anonymous ftp site, a total of
2  files of data and documentation (see info below) .  
When opened, the data file contains underway measurements of
chlorophyll a and related pigments data, Southern Ocean JGOFS/AESOPS
project, 1998 cruise.  The sopig0198.inv, contains the associated
metadata entry form for this data set.  This data set was 
received courtesy of Dr. Mark Abbott, Oregon State University and the
OSU/ORSOO group web server.  These are deep ocean data, international 
program.  Detailed information for these data has been annotated into 
header, introduction and methods within the data set.
