Dear Bob, Please find attached 2 files with the available Sonne CTD data from the cruise 102 during May-June 1995. We only received 41 of the reported 77 stations and were told that other shallow stations were taken mainly in connection with the biological samplings etc. However, these CTD data have not been worked up and calibrated. The file RECEIVED.ZIP contains the original submitted 41 CTD files (*.pop) and a file DEP_TIME.TXT with time and depth to bottom information. In each CTD file (*.pop) is listed position of the station. Parameters listed are pressure, insitu temperature, salinity, oxygen (was however not measured and is therefor given value -9.0), no. of observation in each of the 2 dbar bin averaged data, pot. temp relative to the surface, sigma-t, sigma-theta, and a quality flag. We have also attached the file ICES.ZIP which contains the worked up & screened data in ICES format (SONNE.CTD) as well as a copy of our documentation of corrections made (SONNE.TXT). All best wishes, Susanne ____________________________________________________________ Susanne Reimert Oceanography Assistant International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES) Palaegade 2-4 DK-1261 Copenhagen K Denmark E-mail: susanne@ices.dk Telephone (operator): + 45 33 15 42 25 Telephone (direct) : + 45 33 15 26 77 (tone) 212 Fax: + 45 33 93 42 15 www.ices.dk [] ICES.ZIP [] RECEIVED.ZIP
