They have been given NODC Accession Number 0000009. Your message says there should be 3 files with extension AAa, but I could only find two files - 99323073.AAa and 99349100.AAa. All 185 Rainier files are there. Regards, Doug Hamilton NODC At 11:17 AM 01/18/2000 -0500, you wrote: >Hello, > >I have just sent via FTP, 188 CTD cast files acquired during the 1999 >season: > > 3 files from field party on East Coast, Navigation Response Team 1 >(files with extension AAa) > > 185 files from the NOAA SHIP RAINIER (files with extension RAa, R1a, >R3a, R4a, R5a, R6a) >RA denotes the ship, R1, R3, etc. denotes a launch) > >The data were collected using a Sea-Bird SBE 19 SEACAT profiler. >Each file is in the WHOI CTD Exchange Format. > >The filenames have format YYDDDHHM.ssa where > >YY = 2-digit year >DDD = day-of-year >HH = hour of day (UTC) >M = first digit of the minutes of the hour >ss indicates the NOAA ship or field unit. > >Thanks, >Ruby Becker, N/CS11 >Coast Survey Development Lab >Hydrographic Systems and Technology Programs >
