Table 3. Column header abbreviations, their preferred units and brief descriptions for time-series chemical oceanographic data. Quality control flags mentioned in this table refer to the quality control flag convention as listed in Table 4. N/A means not applicable.

EXPOCODE N/A Expedition code (EXPOCODE) consists of the four-digit International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES) platform code and the date of departure from port (UTC) in YYYYMMDD.
