This page provides references to software packages that can be used for manipulating or displaying Argo data.

Argo Data Explorer
A Java application that allows a user to convert Argo data (including profile, meta, and trajectory files) from the GDACs' NetCDF format to the ASCII text format.
NQuery
a Java-based, network-enabled data-based query tool allows temporal/spatial filtering of Argo and GTSPP data sets by using NODC-generated Argo and GTSPP “Inventory” files and NdEdit, a time-space filtering tool. Selected profiles can be then be ingested by NQuery over the Internet via the HTTP protocol to populate a MySQL database.
ncBrowse
A Java application that provides flexible, interactive graphical displays of data and attributes from a wide range of netCDF data file conventions.
Ocean Data View
A software package for the interactive exploration and visualization of oceanographic and other geo-referenced profile or sequence data.
