NEW CODE FOR ARGO PROFILING FLOAT DATA
There is a new code: variable specific second header 19, adjustment. This is a real value, the value of the adjustment (correction) made to Argo profiling floats. The adjustment is the mean difference between original (real-time) and adjusted (delayed-mode) profile of temperature, salinity, oxygen, or pressure for all values below 500 meters depth. If a profile has an adjustment value (even if this value is 0.0, it means the profile has gone through additional quality control by the Argo project and is considered delayed-mode data.
