- The
World Ocean Database Plankton compiled by the Ocean Climate
Laboratory contains globally distributed plankton data and
associated metadata with over 143,000 plankton biomass casts,
and over 98,000 taxonomic casts. You can customize a search
for plankton data by using WODselect. For additional plankton database information please see the WOD05

- Harmful Algal Blooms Observing System (HABSOS) - An integrated information and communication system at the National Coastal Data Development Center (NCDDC) for managing HAB data and events. Another good source of HABs information can be found on the NOAAWatch site, or you can also visit NOAA's Phytoplankton Monitoring Network.
- NODC's
Ocean Archive System can also be queried
for plankton data.
