Geosat Crossover Difference Map

The GEOSAT Altimeter Crossover Difference data sets are organized by the 18 ocean regions shown on this map. To squeeze as much data onto as few discs as possible, some regions are divided between discs in the set of eight CD-ROMs.

Divided regions are denoted by an appended "a" or "b." For example, disc 1 contains the first part of the data from region 3 (denoted as "3a") and disc 2 contains the remaining data from region 3 (denoted as "3b").
